Green Street Court House : ウィキペディア英語版 | Green Street Court House Green Street Court House, Dublin, was the home of the Special Criminal Court until it moved to the new Criminal Court of Justice building near Phoenix Park in 2010. The Green Street court house (located on Green Street) is in the Smithfield area of Dublin and now handles civil cases, particularly custody cases.〔(Courts.ie - District Court Sittings: Dublin )〕 It was built in 1797 on the site of the old Newgate Gaol.〔(Excavations.ie - Excavations King Street/King Street )〕 The architect is believed to have been Whitmore Davis.〔(Archiseek - Green Street Courthouse, Dublin )〕 The building was remodelled between 1837 and 1842 by Michael Semple.
